Who This Is For

You Know This Feeling...

That clicking, locking, or constant ache in your jaw is more than annoying — it's exhausting. It makes it hard to eat, sleep, focus, or even have a conversation without thinking about the pain.

👉🏻 Jaw pain, clicking, or popping

👉🏻 Headaches that won't go away

👉🏻 Neck and shoulder tension

👉🏻 Difficulty opening your mouth fully

👉🏻 Ear pain or fullness with no infection

👉🏻 Teeth grinding or clenching

You've probably seen your dentist. Maybe even a specialist. And yet — you're still in pain. That's because most TMJ care treats the symptoms, not the source. We do things differently.

Why Bergen County Trusts Us

One-on-One Care That Actually Gets to the Root of Your Pain

Get out of constant pain and treatment cycles, and get real, lasting relief

1-on-1 Sessions

Your Therapist. Every Visit. No Exceptions.

At most clinics, you book with a specialist and end up working with whoever's available that day. Not here. Every single session is spent one-on-one with your dedicated TMJ therapist — the same person, every time, from day one to discharge.

Why this matters for your recovery:

  • Your jaw pain is unique — your treatment plan should be too, not pulled from a generic protocol

  • As you improve, your therapist adapts your plan in real time so you're always progressing, never plateauing

  • Having the same person accountable to your results means nothing falls through the cracks

  • No re-explaining yourself. No waiting. No aides. Just focused, expert hands-on care from the moment you walk in.

Root Cause Approach

We Don't Chase Symptoms. We Find What's Actually Causing Your Pain.

A night guard. A prescription. A quick adjustment. These things might take the edge off — but if no one is asking why your jaw hurts in the first place, the pain always comes back. We go deeper. We look at your posture, your movement patterns, your daily habits, and the structures surrounding your jaw to understand the full picture — then we build a plan that addresses the source, not just the sensation.

Why this changes everything for your recovery:

  • Temporary fixes like night guards treat the symptom, not the problem — which is why so many TMJ sufferers are still in pain years later

  • We help you understand why you're hurting and what's been keeping you stuck, so you're in control of your own recovery

  • Our goal is to get you better and keep you better — not keep you coming back indefinitely

  • Real, lasting relief comes from real answers — and that's exactly what we're here to give you

Lasting Results

Advanced Treatments Most Clinics Don't Offer — Used by Specialists Who Know How to Apply Them.

Treatments we use: Manual therapy (joint mobilization & soft tissue work) · Therapeutic exercises (jaw stretching, strengthening & postural correction) · Trigger point dry needling · Craniosacral therapy (CST)

How this gets you better results:

  • Because everyone's pain is different, we never rely on a one-size-fits-all protocol — we match the right treatments to your specific case

  • We use a strategic combination of techniques to deliver short-term relief and long-term recovery, not just one or the other

  • Every treatment we use is clinically proven and backed by research — nothing experimental, nothing gimmicky

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a referral?

No referral needed in New Jersey — you can come directly to us.

Do you accept insurance?

We only accept medicare. Since we are a specialized 1-on-1 clinic we do not work with insurance companies. Physical therapists who work in in-network clinics often have to see 2 or more patients per hour. They do this because insurance companies will reimburse the clinic only about half of what they actually bill. Thus, insurance companies indirectly dictate or influence the treatment that patients get, which oftentimes, is not beneficial to who matters most - YOU, the patient.

How quickly will I see results?

We focus on getting you better, faster. Because we provide dedicated, one-on-one time, most clients report noticeable improvements—like reduced headaches or less pain—within 3 to 4 weeks of consistently following their personalized plan.

How often will I need treatment?

The answer is dependent on the nature of the problem if it is acute or chronic. The best way to know is doing an evaluation visit. Chronic conditions typically require more visits due to the compensations made by the body and a heightened nervous system
